Node Roles
The different types of nodes that secure and monitor the Maroo network.
The Maroo network is maintained by a diverse set of nodes, including Validators for consensus, RPC nodes for user interaction, and specialized Observer Nodes for regulatory oversight.
Validator Nodes
Responsible for proposing and voting on blocks. They secure the network and earn rewards for honest participation.
Observer Nodes
Specialized nodes operated by authorized regulatory bodies. They have the cryptographic capability to decrypt specific transaction data for auditing purposes, strictly within legal limits.
RPC/Full Nodes
Serve data to dApps and users, allowing them to query blockchain state and submit transactions without participating in consensus.
