Public, but Regulated
A permissionless network with distinct paths for regulated and open activities.
Maroo is a permissionless chain where anyone can create a wallet. However, it dynamically routes transactions through a Regulated Path or an Open Path based on counterparty identity, transaction size, and asset type.
The Open Path
Small, everyday transactions or interactions with non-regulated experimental dApps flow through the Open Path without friction, preserving the permissionless innovation of Web3.
The Regulated Path
Transactions involving large amounts, regulated assets (like RWA tokens), or specific jurisdictions are routed through the Regulated Path, requiring pre-approval and compliance checks via the PCL.
Coexistence
This dual-track design allows experimental innovation and heavily regulated institutional activities to coexist on the exact same infrastructure.
